Plant Manager Andy Lukacs Announces Recall of 100 and Addition of 3rd Shift

The following is an exsert from an email sent out by Andy at 1:57 pm 5/27/10:

Gastonia Team -

Truck orders continue to show glimmers of hope of a recovery. In light of planned increases at the truck plants, we will be recalling approximately 100 employees in our plant. Employees will be recalled over a 6 week period starting 6/21/10. I realize that there have been some rumors leaked out about this over the last week, but I was not ready to communicate this prior to now.

Along with this planned recall, we are finalizing plans for a small 3rd shift crew. This will include a maintenance crew (primarily focused on PM's), along with a limited number of production and support employees. Timing for 3rd shift will most likely be mid-July.
