Attention ALL Freightliner UAW Members and their families interested in employment at Volkswagen,

All manufacturing workers across this country have been affected by our economic downturn, the auto crisis, flawed trade policies and the mass exodus of jobs being outsourced to countries with cheaper labor.  UAW members, some of the most highly skilled and productive workers in America, have been hit the hardest.  In addition, as union workers, we are experiencing the effects of a declining union membership and an alarming erosion of good wages.  The fair standard of living set by union workers is being replaced by a lower standard set by non-union companies as they grow and prosper.

We must all work together to help non-union workers organize and bargain the terms and conditions of their employment in the manufacturing industry.  The erosion of our standard of living will surely intensify unless non-union workers organize and unite with us to maintain it.

So what can we do?  We must ORGANIZE!  To do so, we must first help non-union workers understand what’s at stake without unionization.  It is an economic race to the bottom where only Corporations and CEOs will win!

How can you help yourself and your union brothers and sisters?  Apply for a job at Volkswagen and together we can help Volkswagen workers gain a united voice too.
