| This is an update from the safety committee. We are working on the control reliable circuitry on the presses. This is a very expensive project and we are looking at three options. The first is installing Omni Link systems to the presses, the second is installing Allen Bradley systems to the presses, and the third option is updating the circuitry that we have. The BEST system has been cascaded throughout the plant and we are in the process of training our new committee person's on the database. We also have a new Ergonomics office above the Auditors office, beside shipping and receiving. The safety committee will continue to evaluate problem jobs, and tools if needed to make sure we eliminate as many risk factors as possible. I would like to remind everyone if you are injured on the job report it. This is very important to assure we investigate the injury to find and correct the problem as soon as possible. It also helps you and I when dealing with workers compensation. |
